I bought a switch v1 from fbm… and I’m surprised it worked out?😅
I’m basically looking for advice. I’m still riding the high from successfully hacking my 2DSXL this week and Ive already found my next project.
It’s a launch day switch, 32gb, sd card doesn’t work, and there are a few cosmetic issues.
It powers on, it was not patched, battery seems fine, and It’s NOT banned from eshop. (They reset it before the exchange) However it does look like it was tinkered with or there was some attempts at fixing it. One of the railings is loose and there’s more than a handful of missing screws and stripped threads. the backplate was swapped with a white one.
The original listing was tablet only, I asked a few of questions I learned from this sub, I haggled them down to $50 and they threw in the joycons for “free” 😅
I want a to do a complete shell replacement, fix the Sd card reader, clean the insides, etc. but now I don’t know if I even want to hack it anymore and risk getting banned if I mess up, cuz I got so lucky.
So what do you guys think? How did I do?
