Do you actually think about what you wear when you’re DJing?

It got me wonderin... is it just me, or do DJs actually think about what to wear? Is there a DJ dress-code?

When I first started DJing, I was always conscious about looking stylish behind the decks. As time went on, comfort became just as important.

If it’s hot, I’m usually in a tee or short-sleeve shirt and jeans. If it’s cooler, I’ll rock a long-sleeve tee or a lightweight fitted-hoodie. I still want to look good, but I also don’t want to be overheating halfway through a set.

I’m curious… anyone else?
What’s your go-to outfit when you’re DJing?
Does it change depending on the season or the type of gig? Any features u specifically look for?
Is there anything u’ve always wished DJ clothing did better?

Apprdciate u reading this, cheers.

What's the loneliest part of DJing that nobody talks about?

Is it the responsibility?

Building a UK Fashion Brand. What Would Stop You Buying From This Store?

Hi everyone,

New to ecom.

I’m looking for honest feedback on my store before putting money into traffic.

The brand is called Off-Record. It’s a UK-based fashion brand inspired by DJ culture, underground music and premium streetwear.

I’m not looking for compliments. I’d genuinely like to know what would stop you from buying.

Website:
https://off---record.com

A few things I’d love feedback on:

• First impression (does it feel premium?)
• Trustworthiness
• Homepage clarity
• Product pages
• Brand positioning
• Anything that feels confusing, amateur or unnecessary
• What would make you leave without buying?

A bit of context:
I’ve had feedback ranging from:

“Looks premium.”
to
“It feels like a startup trying to look luxury.”

Brand is still early. More products, creator content and customer reviews are on the way, but before I spend more on marketing I’d like to understand whether the current site is communicating enough value and trust.

If you landed on this site as a first-time visitor, what would be the biggest thing you’d fix first?

Appreciate any blunt feedback.
