Creaking noise from front left knuckle/hub area when shifting from park to drive or accelerating.

2017 Explorer Sport, 3.5l V6 T Turbo.

Have a creaking noise I've been trying to chase down, narrowed it down to the hub/knuckle area but not all that sure beyond that so looking for some more suggestions before I fire a parts cannon.

-visually boots do not look torn, and bushings also do not look terrible as far as I can tell.

-Not happening when turning since it's not doing the usual click, so not suspecting CV joint.

-Nothing feels loose when trying to move by hand.

-I don't hear it when hitting bumps.

-Hear it when holding brakes and accelerating a bit.

Buddy upgraded his system a few years ago and has had these sitting around for a while, tried looking around myself but haven't really been able to find the same sticks for a check.
