Perversions #83 - 21 August - Our First Event at the Mule
This Friday, 21 August, Asheville After Dark brings the area's best fetish night and BDSM play party to The Mule at Devil's Foot Beverage for the very first time, and we hope you will join us in ringing in this new chapter of our history!
We bring the equipment (St. Andrew's cross, spanking bench, suspension rig, and more!), you bring your toys (rope, paddles, etc), and let's have some sexy fun!
Sir Randy of Dragontailz will be selling floggers, dragontails, and more; Edge Magazine will be selling the brand-new edition of their kink 'zine; and MissJackpots will be bootblacking for at least a portion of the evening, so bring your leather goods that need some TLC.
Perversions is an open event, and there are no vetting requirements, other than a willingness to follow our Code of Conduct (https://docs.google.com/document/d/1L4wsBXZzY4\_ohSyngIpQzv7AoXgBc1pGmM6I7REjKwE/edit?usp=sharing) and Playspace Expectations (https://docs.google.com/document/d/1l\_xiNjrOjw1A4DNwvM6udb5vhPNn2d5X1kzsspOTpzc/edit?usp=drive\_link).
Dress Code: Wear what makes you feel comfortable and/or sexy. Whether that's latex, leather, all black, jeans and a t-shirt, whatever - as long as your bits - top, bottom, and back - are covered (regardless of your gender).
Doors at 8, party 9-2.
$15 at the door

- This is an event where people can partake in non-sexual BDSM activities. At Perversions, you will see (and potentially take part in):
- Impact play: using implements or hands (and other body parts) to strike another person, generally in the buttocks and back, though there are many, many ways to do impact
- Rope bondage and suspension: tying up one's partner, possibly including suspending them from a rig
- Fire play - the use of a burning wand to apply fire to the body in a sensual manner. May also include the use of fire cups.
- Electrical play - the use of violet wands, TENS units, TAzappers, etc to apply an electrical shock to the body
- Pet play - a type of play in which one or more people involved take on the role of an animal, generally a cat or dog, though others are possible and common
- and many other forms of play
I'm happy to answer any questions you may have about the event.
We'd love to see you at the Mule!
