Good afternoon yall. Ill start this with my apologies of its a dumb question. Im brand new to 40k, starting with a combat patrol and slowly building an army.

But I wanted to ask color pallets for armies can be mix and match sorta. My Sacresants are white a purple with silver highlights, but I was playing with the idea making my actually sisters squad more darker colors. Is that something I can do? Id keep the purple/silver mix.
