I thought you guys might be interested to see this since we talked about it before. DK had a home run promotion a while back where you would get $250 for each home run hit in the game. Well, we lucked out and there were 4. So I got a $1000 bonus bet. I debated for a little while how I wanted to use it and eventually settled on this. Fortunately, it hit. 🤞🏻

Now that’s what I call a bonus bet! 😮 

Four home runs yesterday. They really took care of business. (Even if the Dodgers losing cost me a few bets.)

I keep being reminded of why I dislike betting MLB. At least tennis has been treating me a little bit better.

I’ve received a few No Sweat bets recently, after not having received for at least a year. It’s fun while it lasts.

I got the first two just by mentioning it to my host. (The 3rd one is the weekly promo.) This is a reminder for people who have hosts: Don’t forget to talk to them! And don’t forget to ask for reasonable promos. I recommend texting them approximately once a week to touch base and see if you qualify for anything. Remember that your relationship with your host should always be friendly. Don’t make demands, don’t be rude. Don’t blame them for what’s wrong with DK. (It’s not their fault!) To quote the old cliche: you can catch more flies with honey than you can with vinegar.

I don’t ordinarily bet on home runs, but I reckon I’ll give it a shot for $500.

Anyone have recommendations?

You guys convinced me that I should take advantage of this. I only had $9500 free in my checking account, so I couldn’t take advantage of the whole bonus. But it’s pretty close.

What are the chances I lose every single one of them? My performance in the past on these has not been stellar.

I have taken advantage of these promos in the past, but it really seems insane to deposit that much.

I hit another one for just over $1100. But otherwise it was mostly a lot of losses.

Risky bets = Lots of variance

The first one stretched past the bottom of the screen and I didn’t want to mess with it. So there were a few more off the screen. I don’t ordinarily play 9-leg parlays, which are about as likely to hit as lightning. But I guess I was feeling lucky.

This is what I’m thinking anyway. Spain has been dominant in the tournament so far and I don’t see that changing against Belgium. I think Spain will take care of business.

There are several ways you can play this match, depending on your tolerance for risk. For example, you can bet Spain to advance, Spain to win the match, or Spain to win in 90 minutes.

I also made a separate bet for Spain to win to nil.
