Notification of invalid access code
Hey guys,
I’m wondering how you all handle situations like this. I often get apartment buildings where the access code in the app is invalid. Usually, I end up waiting outside for a little while until someone comes in or out and lets me into the building.
I know that’s probably doing a little too much, but I’ve tried chatting with support to let them know the access code for that location is incorrect. The problem is, they usually respond with something like, “Okay, I’ll mark it delivered,” and at that point I’m like, “Okay, they don’t understand what I’m trying to say,” and the interaction could go on all night. I can’t just sit there continuing the conversation forever.
At the same time, I feel bad because the access code in the app is wrong, and some poor sap is going to have to deal with the same issue in the future.
Is there a better way to communicate to Amazon that the access code for a location is incorrect? Any feedback is welcomed.
