I can still see offers for today. I’m not sure if my account is going to be paused starting tomorrow or if it’s just a delayed notice. Has anyone else received this before? If so, what happened? Were you actually paused, or did nothing happen? I honestly can’t believe they’re doing this. Is this even legal?

Reported for front door delivery.

I cannot believe people are reporting us for not doing rear deliveries, when the shjt was discontinued last year! Yes! If you didn’t know, Amazon discontinued rear door deliveries almost a year ago.

Does canceling blocks way before the 45 limit cap affect standing?

I’ve canceled a few blocks but at least the day before but worried the standing will be affected. I was fantastic and canceled 2 then it went down to great. No complaints on the details or any late packages. I think it was the canceled blocks but they don’t tell you. This was last week. Also I just canceled a block for tomorrow 3am because I was able to get a surged route tonight. So I wanna do the route tonight and do some uber and DoorDash while driving back home. So it’ll be a long night

Flex back to normal in my market

After two weeks of no reserved blocks and no offers, suddenly this week is back to normal. Being offered early morning blocks every day of the week.

Here is my theory based on reading this sub. I suspect Flex deliveries are the most unreliable method of delivery and Amazon doesn’t want a stain on prime week.

As soon as it’s over they go back to their he cost benefit analysis and offer more deliveries to Flex drivers.

Jeez

I guess they figured out after 7pm those blocks are pretty much free pay so they decided to give you crumbs just in case

Numbers on grocery packages

I got an SSD block with mostly groceries and noticed these numbers on the labels (circled in red in the photo). I thought, “great, they numbered them in order.” Nope. The numbers had no relevance whatsoever to the order of my stops. Two grocery bags going to the same address were numbered 5 and 13.

Also, why can’t they identify these in the app as Groceries and not just Envelope?

Grocery Deliveries

Has anyone gotten groceries group in with a normal delivery block? I had thought the groceries where Amazon fresh and you specially had to grab those blocks but was given a bunch today with my normal 4.5 hour block

Injury during delivery

Today, at four in the morning, I arrive to a customer’s house to drop off an order when I approached the porch, all lights were off, and the only light visible was my phone. I delivered the package, snapped a photo, turned around, misplaced my step and fell off the porch, my entire hand Hand and arm is hurting more and more as the day progresses. and my knee is swollen. I’ve reported the incident to Amazon, I will be going to the doctor tomorrow to get checked out. Anybody gone through something similar? What was your outcome?

How hard is it Amazon?

How hard is it to write a email script to filter by region and then email those drivers that the warehouse you pick up from is closed for the holiday? You would think a billion dollar company could. So many drivers arriving at warehouses early this morning July 5th where all doors were closed and not an employee in site. The unprofessionalism of this company sometimes is off the chain. This should be a lesson to those that think Amazon values its flex drivers.

How does Amazon determine if a package is delivered late?

I arrive at station in time. Follow the route instructions provided. Finish block early yet I have 4 late deliveries? Can someone help me understand how this happens so I can not get dinged?

Seattle ABWMP adjustment complete mess.

I woke up this morning and noticed that the adjustment I received on Wednesday/Thursday has been reversed. Everything is gone.
My standing has been reset and all issues have disappeared as well. My actual earnings for this week are also gone, as if they were already sent to my bank account, although that shouldn’t be possible on a Sunday.
What is going on with Amazon? Is anyone else no longer seeing their previous adjustments?
Any thoughts if this reverse is permanent and everything was issued to us by mistake?

This is a weirdly addicting side hustle.

I've been doing Flex on and off for the past year but these past two months I've really devoted a lot of time (and mileage on my car, ugh) to doing it. I have a work from home main job and when I have odd, late shifts, I really like doing this during the day or in the early morning, I feel like I've got to see more of the areas around where I live and the delivery routes have been simple enough (not to say it's been entirely perfect) to the point I've really enjoyed the process.

I think it's mostly due in part that it allows me to be active where my WFH job keeps me homebound. Regardless, I don't know how DoorDash and Uber really compete in the sidejob market now.

Question for Amazon Flex customers from a Flex driver.

Just a suggestion. It would very appreciated if customers would leave a cooler full of ice with water bottles / juice / soda in it on their porch or steps once every month or so .

These cold drinks sometimes make all the difference.Especially in the South where temps are 90 to 100°.

Just a suggestion. Thank you!!

Nice surprise

I was so mad earlier in the week when they cancelled this just before the 48 hours, so I couldn’t get paid. Now I can’t complain, lol.

Reactivated 😊

Yes I️ cancel late. Yes I️ return carts. Mama said treat others as they wanna be treated 😭🤏🏾 but, yes I️ still want the option when ready. Moral of story: get in where u fit in 💪🏾

Closing support email is an absolutely garbage decision

Trying to contact support to document closure, but there is a more than 30 minute wait and chat hasn't started up after 20 minutes. I can't get ahold of anyone, so I try an email to document everything with pictures of the closed location and guess what...

The fact they try to frame it as an improvement and being about convenience for us is insulting.

Amazon flex bug

Hi so I have been frequently driving for flex and I recently had a block that was scheduled for 5:15pm-8:45pm. So i get to the station around 5:10pm about to check in, the normal face scan and then ID. But weirdly it showed that i needed to scan a package instead of face scan, so I was asking the workers there. He was just as confused so he called the manager of the warehouse but when she finally got to me, my check in time was passed and my route was cancelled. The manager told me that the flex app has been having that bug for a few drivers recently and she said to just contact support and they will compensate me for the route since it was out of my control. So i contacted support and they were very helpful saying it will be removed from my account history and i will be fully compensated, with an email sending the confirmations shortly. Being over 48 hours and receiving no email I contacted support again and they said that the route is removed from my account by compensations cant be confirmed as they can’t adjust earnings for no completion routes. So did the first support just straight up lie to me to have other support deny me later on? Has anyone else had this issue before?
