Finished CreationCaravan's Fondor with some changes
It was a really fun MOC to build.
I changed some of the detail and also added the landing gear and the ramp so it can be displayed without the stand.

Most of the build is done but unfortunately I had to stop last week. Because of the missing 6x5 panel pieces it was not possible to continue the wall sections.

For now I'm waiting for the replacement parts. I built what I could in advance for example the Imperial Shuttle (it's done, just not included in this picture).

I think there is around 5-6 bags left so it shouldn't take too long once the necessary parts arrive. :)

Finished building level 3 and started building level 4.
Unfortunately 2 important pieces had to be added to my missing parts list. A 4x10 black plate and a 4x12 black plate. The 4x12 prevented me from building Vader's chamber, the 4x10 is missing from the front section of the meeting room so it could mostly be finished. I think the missing 4x12s were mentioned when the set first came out so this could be an issue later if I have the same version (mine is 31517, please let me know if you have knowledge about this.)
I also forgot to ask in my last post if you guys know a way to get Stormtrooper helmets separately (3 of them are missing these and I would still like to make a use of them so getting these would be great.)
The good:
- The brick quality is very decent so for, it has been a very smooth building experience.
- The stickers are great as well. I was worried about this because the set has a lot if stickers and I've had issues before with them in my previous fake sets sometimes.
The bad:
- As most of you probably know the minifigures and some printed pieces are usually packaged separately. I've got two of these packages and I assume 1 or 2 other got lost during packaging/shipping so a lot of the minifigures are missing partially/completely. Because of this I had to order replacements from brixtoy (the value of these replacements was refunded by chowbrick).
- As I mentioned these packages have some printed parts as well so 2-3 of these are missing so far but nothing that would stop the build itself. I'll get a replacement for these after I've finished the whole thing.
Super excited to start building this one. So far everything looks okay but I'll post an update later.
After a few months of building, my Jabba’s Palace diorama is finally complete!
It’s about 6,700 pieces and includes the full throne room, a working rancor pit with a trapdoor and opening gate, plus a droid room and several smaller side areas. I tried to stay as accurate as possible to Return of the Jedi while still adding some play features.
In the second picture, you can also see a smaller version focused just on the throne room.
This is my first MOC, so I’d really appreciate any feedback :)
(If you would like to see some more renders, I also uploaded it on my Rebrickable)
