Welp looks like im making instructions for my lego Shadow head mod imstead of my original plan of a youtube tutorial. I might still make the youtibe tutorial for comverting it from an already built Shadow head tho
I started working on a Lego Mario brickbuilt figure MOC recently, and so far its looking great! The eyes and eyebrows may be decals, and the 1x1 heart tile doesn't exist in brown so I have to paint it, but I think it will be fine. I also made an alternate hiar accesory for his head! I will keep posting updates on this build so stay tooned!
I started building a Lego Mario brickbuilt figure recently and so far its turning put great! I used decals for the eyes and eyebrows, and the bangs need to be painted because the heart 1x1 tile doesn't exist in brown, but it looks amazing! I even made an alternate hair accessory. I took some advice from the comments, and modified my Metal Sonic as best i could at the moment. His front lower legs 1x4 tiles have been replaced with 1x3 tiles also showing the shoe joints which have been turned black. I also made his back thruster more accurate with the top quill or whatever being more rounded out and connected, and making the yellow circle part using a clip tile connected to a 1x1 bracket that holds a ring piece that i dont know the exact piece name. I also changed the 1x1 inverted clip plates within the shoulderd and his hands from pearl gold to black to match the lego studio model. I still havent gotten 1x2 half circle tiles for his bottom, so its still temporarily red. Unfortunately I dont know how to make him more sturdier and less fragile at the moment, especially for his shoes. Everything else is sturdy enough in my opinion, except the shoes. This is a wip Metal Sonic Figure to go with my Sonic a few posts back. He has even MORE articulation then sonic, with accurate proportions and details! I but the body of the MOC IRL but i havent got all the corect collr pieces, or all the pieces for that matter yet, but so far its looking pretty good! Im still experimenting with the head, so ill get back to that. When im done, i will release the instructions on rebrickable as well as the instructions for my Sonic figure. See ya till then!
