Captured a bat, planning to release when it gets dark. Anything to do for it now? Details below

Im in central ohio, dont know what kind of bat it is. I have it in a bucket with a cardboard lid, poked some holes in it. I put a cold wet rag inside with him. I know basically nothing about bats. When i saw him on the wall it startled me because i got so close and didnt notice it. When i put him in the bucket he made some noise, but didnt resist at all which make me slightly concerned. It has been very hot recently, so i kinda hope hes just a little overheated and cooling down Inside.

If anyone has any other advice im all ears. I called a friend that knew a little more than i did, they said not to feed it, but having a tiny bit of water is good. But if tonight comes, and this little guy dont want to fly off then i dont know how to help him. Ill do whatever i can, i just am hoping someone here might know the appropriate route to take.

Can send more pictures if needed, just dont have more because i dont want to disturb him during his sleeping hours.

Any advice is welcome. If anybody knows the kind of bat he is that would he cool to know also! But no worries regardless. Its the 4th, so i named him Hotdog.

Thanks for any responses in advance, ill stay watching the comments incase i did something wrong. Not my area of expertise, just trying to help another living being.

Thanks again for your time!
