Quietly building a modern social gaming startup - curious to connect with aligned builders

I’ve been quietly building a mobile gaming project over the past months while simultaneously going through the early stages of funding, feedback gathering, concept validation, and product structuring.

The project itself is centered around competitive/social dice gaming - but the long-term vision goes far beyond “just another dice app.” What interests me most is the intersection between:

fair and trust-based systems, social competition, creator/community-driven experiences, modular gameplay systems, and modern AI-assisted product building.

This is my first major startup project, so I’m learning a lot in real time while continuing to push things forward step by step.

Over the past months I’ve already received surprisingly positive feedback from different people, and I’m currently continuing to refine the MVP direction, product structure, and long-term positioning.

At the same time, I’ve realized something important: finding aligned people is probably harder than finding ideas. So this post is less about “recruiting” and more about connecting with people who genuinely enjoy building ambitious things long term. Especially people interested in:

mobile gaming, product building, AI workflows, systems thinking, startup environments, or scalable social/competitive experiences.

No hype. No “get rich quick.” Just trying to build something meaningful step by step with the right mindset behind it.

Curious to see who resonates with this.

I might be wrong, but I feel like dice-based games are one of the most underdeveloped segments in mobile gaming.

Not because the market isn’t there, but because most existing products haven’t really evolved beyond basic formats or heavy monetization.

Over the past months, I’ve been exploring the idea of building something more system-driven in this space. Not just a single game, but a modular approach to dice and score-based gameplay, with a focus on fairness, flexibility and long-term engagement.

Early signals have been interesting so far. Even with just a simple post, I’ve had inbound interest from developers, studios and a few initial investor conversations. The general reaction tends to be that something like this should already exist.

Still very early stage and not here to pitch anything.

I’m mainly looking to get perspectives from people who have experience in mobile gaming, scalable systems or early-stage investing.

Do you think this space has more potential than it currently shows, or is there something obvious I might be missing?

Happy to connect if someone finds this direction interesting from an operator or investment perspective.
