Strokes .. how to get them right?

So after finishing my design with some help by some of you (thank you once again) I wanted to check out how it would look with a stroke added.

However, no matter which option I choose, the stroke never fully adapts to the source design.
In my source design I chose to round all of my corners slightly on purpose. When I add a stroke however, Affinity randomly chooses which corners to round and which not. The pictures above show the source material, stroke aligned to centre and stroke aligned to the outside. As you can see both options do not adhere to the source material in every corner. None of them are consistent.
How do I fix this?

I might be missing something here since I'm new to this but whenever I'm using the knife tool, I can never get it to cut exactly along guides I've placed. Why does the knife tool not snap to the guides like shapes do?
Whatever point on the guide I choose, from which I drag to cut my shape, is always either just above or just underneath the guide, but never exactly on the guide (see attached picture). Meaning my shape is not cut at the same height as other shapes that I want to have aligned.
How on earth do I do this?

There's a certain task I'd like to do through Raycast, which is already featured in some extensions but doesn't work well.
I thought I'd vibecode a script for this (I'm sorry, I literally have 0 knowledge about coding) and set it up as I was told, but it's not working.
I keep getting this error: "error: env: node: no such file or directory".
Does this mean I have to install Node in order for this to work? Is that necessary for any script to work, or are there workarounds?

Hi,

Very new to all this. I'm trying to remake and adjust an old logo of mine that an old friend of mine helped me digitalise years ago. It's not too complicated but I simply don't know how to do certain (basic) things, like cutting at angles and rounding edges.

Can someone explain to me how I can get the upper left corner to be cut off horizontally just like the center piece (red), and how I can cut that left "tail" at exactly 45 degrees like the 45 degree rectangle next to it (green)?
And how, after I've done that, I can round all corners/edges equally?
I'm on the newest free all-in-one version of Affinity.

Thanks!
