[US] Is this a scam? Religious 'Conference' using my personal phone number with a QR code that isn't real.

Weird thing that happened today, I keep getting text messages and phone calls regarding this. Most of the people reaching out are Hispanic, I don't speak Spanish, but I was able to ask someone who spoke English where they found this flyer; they stated it was on Facebook but they couldn't find the link. I called the Embassy Suites and they told me they aren't hosting anything under the name 'Genesis'. Is this a scam? If so, to what end? Or is this just a misprint and I'll just deal with the phone calls and text messages until the 'event' is over. Please help, I'm not super stoked that my private phone number is on the Internet tied to this. (Obviously I've blacked out my phone number for this post).
