We built a "dating app" for founders looking for co-founders, engineers, and talent

We run a community of 150+ founders, and kept seeing the same pattern: founders looking for a technical co-founder, engineers looking for a founder to build with, GTM/marketing folks and content creators looking for a startup to join. All the "matching" happening manually in DMs and Discord threads.

So we built,

Basically an app UX for finding your next co-founder, hire, or collaborator. We went with a fun, playful UI on purpose instead of another clean/minimal SaaS look, because our community has always run on real human connection, not transactional networking.

We've already got founders from YC, Antler scouts, and VCs in the community, so the early signal has been good. Now trying to see if this resonates outside our own network too.

Would love feedback on:

- Does the "dating app for founders" framing make sense, or is it confusing?

- Is the fun/playful design working or does it undercut the credibility?

- Would you use something like this to find a co-founder or teammate?

Hey folks,

I'm a Venture Scout at LvlUp Ventures , a globally active VC firm (ranked #7 most active VC worldwide by PitchBook, backed 1,000+ startups across 6 continents).

# I'm specifically sourcing deals from the Indian startup ecosystem right now.

Here's what's actually on the table:

• Up to $250K checks at pre-seed and seed

• Industry-agnostic , we've backed everything from deep tech and AI to consumer brands and SaaS

• Beyond capital, LvlUp operates as an extended team hands-on fundraising support, warm intros to our 1,000+ investor network, corporate partnerships, and real operational help (not just a wire transfer and a LinkedIn post)

• One application also gets you in front of 25+ other VC partners in our ecosystem

# Who I'm looking for:

• Early-stage founders with some traction (doesn't have to be massive we back conviction).

• Strong founding team, clear problem, and a market that actually matters.

• Bonus if you're building in AI, fintech, deep tech, consumer, or climate but genuinely open to anything.

Thanks!

Sorry for the repost! My motive wasn't clear in my earlier post, so decided to re-write it.

Open to any sort of questions.

Have a great day!
