How valuable is this weird ass achievement

So essentially I’m Irish (I also have US citizenship but reside in Ireland). I won 1st place(tryna not dox myself) in a specific instrument at what what’s considered the national championship for **Irish traditional music(not classical)**Just wondering if this shit is that valuable or not.
Thanks for any advice

Is adroit education worth applying for?

For reference, I am going into 9th grade in Ireland this year . (Us citizen). Would it be worth it to apply? My intended major is math/cs and EE.
I don’t have many extra circulars but this summer to start learning competitive programming(already know Python).

Current extra circulars:
3 thousand euro made busking
National level awards for music
Python (bruh)
Student council

Any help appreciated!

The only thing is my grades in 8th were the equivalent of like 7 a’s and 2 b’s I think
( i got a b in religion and Irish🫪 )
But the thing about my school is they give awards to the people who are top 5 in terms of academics in 8th grade and I got one.

Julie and storywalking?

So can Julie take things from the past/future or wherever and take them back to the present?(I know time isn’t linear). So in theory, if she can, she can just pop by and steal a few talismans? And BOOM they’re chilling.

How much of an advantage does being from an underrepresented country give you?

For reference, I live in Ireland as an incoming freshman, but I have dual citizenship(America). Does being from Ireland which has a low volume of applicants and is underrepresented give me an advantage when applying specifically to t20s or does it just not matter?

If I’m done AoPS should I just go straight into Olympiad problems or read other books?

Once I’m finished volume 1 or 2, should I read other books like Euclidean geometry in mathematical Olympiad, or just go straight into practice problems?

combinatorics?

What’s the best resource to learn combinatorics after going through AoPS volume 1+2? I have honestly no clue. Any help appreciated!

Question about the book of proof

Is the book of proof by Hammack a good starting point for Olympiad math before moving on to AoPS or should I just skip it?

Do I have a shot at IOI

I’m a going into 9th grade in Ireland. Do you think I have a shot at qualifying for IOI if I start now. How much do I have to do (like hours every day) and what are the best resources to learn competitive programming. Should I only learn c++? Thanks for any advice!

Advice on how to get into Stanford

I’m an incoming freshman and Stanford is my dream school. I’m domestic even though I live in another country (dual citizenship-Ireland). I already play music at a high level (national level awards). I want to major in math, CS or EE. Any advice is appreciated. I kinda wanna do math/programming Olympiads but I’m not sure if it’s too late to make it to IMO. I appreciate any advice!

I honestly have no clue what to do anymore..

I’m going into 9th grade this year and I have so many different interests. I want to study CS, engineering or maths(btw I’m domestic, I live in Ireland but have citizenship to US). I already compete and play at a very high level in music, (won national level awards for music)but I’m interested in math Olympiads(maths is my strongest subject), programming Olympiads, robotics, building cool shit with coding (+science fairs)and finally debating. I’m also rlly interested in trying to publish research. I already know Python to a fairly good degree and have started to learn c++ (mostly for robotics)but I have no idea how to narrow all this shit down and I know for sure I can’t do all of it. If anyone has advice pls help😭

Do I have any shot at IMO-how much preparation do I need?

I’m going into 9th grade in Ireland this year. I really want a shot at making IMO in the years to come. I’ve always been top of my class in maths and was wondering how much and what I should do to start preparing this summer and in the school year.
