Still did not receive return from April. Am I missing something?
I used a tax guy for the first time and they submitted my return on April 15th. I'm currently still waiting on the federal refund after receiving the state one within a few days of submitting it.
The IRS is not picking up and I have no idea what else to do.
When I use the "wheres my refund" tool I see:
Action Required (In yellow)
Please read the following information related to your tax situation. You may need to provide additional information to receive your full refund. We received your tax return and are reviewing it. If we need additional information, we'll mail a notice with further instructions. If you've already received a notice, please follow the instructions. If we determine no additional information is needed, we'll continue to process your refund.
From this alone I don't see anything I need to do. I do notice however my address is not updated on their website. So I'm not sure if they mailed me a physical letter that I never got. When I go to change address, it has "Methods to change your address: Use your new address when you file". And my new tax return does have my new address. So I don't know how that factors in.
When I go and look at my transcripts, I see:
Account Status
Your 2025 Tax Return Is Not Processed.
I assume that it was submitted but not processed yet .
Under Account Transcripts
Under Wage & Income Transcripts, there are several pages with lots of personal info so I'm not entirely sure what to show here. Read each line and there's nothing (to me) that pops up as out of the ordinary.
Really not sure what else to do but please let me know if you need more info from me.
