First attempt at going Solo

So been wearing a salon installed system for 6 weeks. Decided to give a try ordering my own thinskin, cut the base from a template myself, attached and went to my normal hairdresser who attempted her first cut in on a system. She was more nervous that I was.

Here are the results, not bad for a first go im hoping definatley learnt ways to improve for next time.

First thinskin

New to systems my first salon fitted one was PU perimeter with mono top and have been using ultrahold mini tape. Ive ordered my own thin skin which should arrive tomorrlw and it will be the first time im going on my own to cut the base, fit and everything.

What adesive should i go with a thin skin (0.6) should i stick with tape or is glue better and ifnao which one.

Advice very much appriciated as always.

Hairsystem Cut In

A few weeks ago I saw a YT video posted on here of a barber cutting in a hair system and talking through what he was doing.

Anyone have the link for the life of me cannot find it. Have a friend who I want to share it with who may be able to cut my own hair system in for me save me going to a salon.

Thanks in advance if anyone knows of the video or similar.

First Hair System UPDATE

Posted on Tuesday after my first HS install, wasnt happy with it. Cut in wasnt the greatest with a bad blend, colour match was off too and could see a clear visible line of system and my bio hair. Pic 1 as a reminder from tuesday

Since then my hair has been growing back, my sides usually do grow quite well, ive been using the Just For Men Grey shampoo daily to reduce the difference between system and bio. Here is the update pics.

Still not perfect but definatley better than it was.

First Hair System installed today

Ok so here goes.

What are thougts here, im not putting my own thoughts but id like to hear honesty.

I know the hair will calm after a few days with the frizz so being patient I guess for now.
