Why I think the Spurs are the Best Team in NBA Going into the 2027 Season

- the spurs obviously are already one of the best teams in the league last year being the runner up of the nba finals but their was still huge questions after as many would say if OKC would have been full healthy they woulda lost that series and the fact they lost the finals showed that they were still not fully ready to take that title of best team in the league by the horns yet. but id say after the NBA Draft the spurs managed to do exactly that.

- they took their biggest weakness last year and turned it into a legit strength. in the finals it was painfully obvious Luke kornet could not continue as the teams primary back up big man as the team fell of a cliff when wemby would come off the court and they have no choice but to play him insane minutes thought the entire playoffs and finals. but in the first round they made two pick that could change the entire trajectory of the not just their franchise but the NBA as a whole

- as they used their 20th overall pick to draft Jayden quaintance (will likely miss entire rookie season) quaintance going into this season was seen as a consensus top 10 pick and from a intangible and talent perspective that remains true but unfortunately his health has greatly held him back up to this point in his career. but if he can stay healthy he will almost instantly become one of if not the best back up big man in the entire NBA by a wide margin and you could even start him at Pf sometimes alongside wemby which would be one of the most insane front courts the league has ever seen defensively. he also has legit offensive upside and game so if health allows it him alone could completely fix their biggest issue and turn it into one of the strongest big man depth in the entire league in a single offseason.

-then just a few picks later at 26 they would trade up to get Tarris Reed Jr Uconns big man who was a beast on the boards and a absolute brick wall defensively while also having a good offensive game around the rim as-well. so even if quaintance misses his entire rookie year reed could be a great option at back up pf who although doesn't have nearly the ceiling or potential as quaintance could play the role perfectly and still be an amazing back up big man and play the exact role the need him to play so even if hes their back up big next year he still a huge improvement over what they had last season.

- last year was the worst the spurs are gonna be in a very long time as that was the last time ever they'd have no playoff experience and they are so young that the players as individuals are gonna continue to improve a high rate for years to come

-Dylan harper could take another step especially if they finally do the right thing and allow him to start and get the bulk of the lead guard minutes over fox and could easily take a leap to becoming a Allstar next season

-wemby despite already being a MVP level of player is only getting better and more improved and now even has the experience of making the finals and know exactly what it takes and has the motivation of losing that finals and wanting redemption

-castle is one of the best two way guards already and hopefully can continue to add to his offensive game and become a better shooter from deep and just continue to grow in the star he has potential to be

-Carter Bryant last year had his moments but his offensive woes hurt him alot despite his obvious elite potential on the defensive side of the ball but now with legit nba minutes behind him and another summer league coming up and then a entire offseason hopefully he can be a useable offensive player next year so they can utilize that elite defense he brings to the table

-the rest of the roster is still very good aswell as Keldon Johnson despite his finals struggles was still last years 6moty and is a high level player, they Brought back a very solid vet who knows how to win in barnes back for another year aswell and champagne is still an elite shooter who plays a big role for them on a nightly basis and even Devin vassell is still improving and getting better and continues to be one of the most underrated SG's in the entire NBA

-Fox outside of his last two series was a huge piece to the puzzle for the success the spurs found last year now I agree harper should start but I think fox could still play a very solid role for them assuming they don't trade him before the start of the season

- lastly I think OKC has gotten worst: they traded wiggins and Isiah Joe for future 2nds which will at least make them a worst less deep team in the short term. and yes okc will still be elite and probably in the WCF next year I think them having a huge bust of a draft will hurt them greatly as they drafted mara to be a "wemby stopper" yet hes a slow footed big who wouldn't stand a chance on the perimeter and will get abused in the PnR if hes switched off and hes not good at scoring at all and can't shoot which will make him a complete liabitly on the offensive side of the ball. and Bennett stirtz at his absolute best is a Luke kennard which is a solid player but not much of a ceiling raiser and that's if he absolutely hits. I did like the Otega Oweh pick and if they let Dort go then could be a respectable replacement for his role although most likely a lesser player overall. add on top of the fact I don't love Nikola topics potential and think sober will just be decent for them I think okc has a legit chance to take a slight step backwards depsite remaing a elite team and I think that opens the window for the spurs to burst through and grab that best team in the league title next season.

Biggest Steals of the 2nd Round

Cleveland P34: Meleek Thomas: a young high ceiling shooting guard who has potential to develop into a high level starting center and as is right now is a good athlete with a lighting quick jumper which should give him value off the bat as he develops the rest of his game

Clippers P36: Baba Miller: one of the funnest prospects in this class and also has a insanely high ceiling due to his skill set and intangibles but unfortunately that's been the case sense hes joined the NCAA in his freshman season at FSU aswell so hopefully he can put it all together now in a nba system

OKC P41: Otega Oweh: to me this was there best pick of the three they made this draft and is a perfect lu Dort long term replacement as hes very strong can score the ball and plays good on ball defense

Tor P50: Jaden Bradley: my nba comparison for him coming in was Jamal shead a player who's been a steal for the raptors and should continue to and I think Jaden Bradley will follow a very similar path

Orl P51: Izaiah Nelson: a great prospect who should be a beast on the defensive side of the ball and has 2 way potential has great upside and to me is a less skilled Johnathan Isaac but to get that type of potential that late is great

LAC P55: Nick Martinelli: a guy who projects to be a hard working role player and that could break the rotation one day and be a winning contributor for them on a cheap contract

Winner&Losers of the 1st round

Winners:

Grizzlies: added boozer and Karmin Lopez both should be immediate impact players boozer being a franchise player to build around and Lopez slotting into a Keegan Murray like role

Spurs: they turned their only weakness into a major strength by adding Jayden quaintance who if healthy could easily be the best center in this class, and added Tarris Reed jr who can do a little bit of everything and their back up bigs are now one of the strongest rooms in the entire nba

Bulls: Caleb wilson will be a great two player and has legit superstar potential for them and they added swain a uber athletic guy with a very high 2 way ceiling and skills to go along with it

Bucks: added Brayden berries a young sg who should start for them immediately and does basically everything you want a guard to do and I see him as a more athletic Malcolm Brogdon and then to replace Giannis they drafted Nate ament who although is far from a sure thing should get the minutes and the chance to develop he needs and if he hits could be a absolute steal

Losers:

Mavs: Completely reached for more Johnson jr when they easily coulda just traded down and I think hes just a role player they did also add Sergio de lerre who's cool but nothing special

OKC: they fumbled badly had a chance to add some elite prospects but instead added Aday Mara to be a "wemby stopper" despite the fact hes very slow and uncoridianted and not near quick enough to guard a guy like wemby and has huge defecits on the offensive side of the ball and then they traded up to get stirtz who is at best a good role player but not at all the best player who was still available there

Top 10 SG's in 2026 NBA Draft

Honorable Mentions: Aaron Nkrumah (Tennessee State) and Quadir Copeland (NC State)

10.) Lamar Wilkerson:

-very solid off ball mover and shooter could be good in a NBA system and has the size and is athletic enough to become a solid 3nD guy but lack self creation ability and the defense isn't 100% there yet but should medially proved floor spacing and good efficient shooting off the rip for wherever he goes and could thrive in certain systems (proj: early to mid 2nd rounder)

9.) Otega Oweh:

-was a proven bucket getter at Kentucky last two seasons and showed he can be a pretty efficient scoring motor for a offense and is a solid self creator while being a good on ball defender as-well meaning he could become a ajay Mitchell like player just with a less high of a ceiling (Proj: early to mid 2nd)

---Tier Gap---

8.) Emanuel Sharpe:

-Sharpe is a fearless shooter with a very quick jump shot to go along with it and although doesn't have the ideal build for his position his ability to shoot from very deep and do it quickly and efficiently makes up for that and add on top of the fact that he has very solid self creation ability gives him a very solid floor as well and although his size isn't ideal for being a elite defender he is currently a rlly solid on ball defender which can help alot and overall I could see him being a great sg for anyone and is like a Gary Trent jr clone (Proj: late first early 2nd)

7.)Meleek Thomas:

-as a freshman for Arkansas last year he played extremely well where he showed flashes of a little bit of everything and most of all his lighting quick jump shot that he can get off damn near when ever he wants to and however close the defense is to them while on top of playing with good athleticism that gives him solid 2 way potential going forward and with his youth at only 19 years old and with the self creation ability that he's showed he has a real chance to become a high level starting 2 guard at NBA level one day and has by far the highest ceiling of anyone on this list (Proj: Mid First Rounder)

6.) Richie Saunders:

-saunders has very good size and athleticism for his position and he combines that with a very well rounded offensive game as-well with his great 3pt shot and also able to play down hill at a high level as well it add another dimension to his game that other shooting guards don't have also his size will allow him to be a at least ok defender at the nba level and projects to be a very good starting level sg one day in the league (Proj: Mid first rounder)

5.) Lebaron Philon:

- to me his basically a Lou Williams clone and that's the main reason I consider him more sg then pg despite public sentiment and I see him playing a very similar role as someone like Lou will did in his prime as a elite scoring option either as a starter or off someones bench in a 6th man role but in other ways he also has a higher ceiling then a guy like Lou due to his playmaking ability which could be a huge plus to his overall offensive game (Proj: Just out the lottery to mid first)

---Tier Gap---

4.) Brayden Burries:

- he had one of the more underrated freshman season of the entire season last year as far as freshman shoot guards go its hard to ask to see much more from him he showed he can shoot very efficiently from deep in both catch and shoot situations and off of movement on top of being very capable of putting the ball on the floor and getting down hill due to his speed and athletic ability and could become a scoring machine one day as a potentially top 10 sg in the league if he develops correctly as Norman Powell like player (Proj: just out side lottery)

3.) Cameron Carr:

- there is simply no better athlete at the sg in this class and theirs barley any better athletes at the position currently in the NBA as he's absolutely elite from that standpoint and he combines that with elite scoring ability and efficient shooting and takes advantage of that elite athleticism to his benefit as he args just under 6 RPG as a sg and and also is a solid defender with the chance to become a elite one if he works at it he's basically a trey Murphy at the sg position and projects to follow a very similar path as him (Proj: Late lottery to just outside the lottery)

---Tier Gap---

2.) Keaton Wagler:

-wagler is one of the more divisive players among draft discussions but to me is a rare very smooth under control 3 leave scorer he has a elite ability to get to where ever he wants and get off a good shot from that spot whenever he wants to despite not having dazzling speed or leaping he makes up for it with his poise and pace of play that is unique to him always maintaining control and rarely letting the game get away from him I think he's got elite scoring potential and has the size and length to be a solid defender and could easily become a top 10 to 5 sg in the league one day due to his youth and maturity of his game well beyond his years (Proj: early to mid lottery)

---Tier Gap---

1.) Daryn Peterson:

- Petersons talent in how he places kind of speaks for itself when you watch him play he is heads and shoulders better then basically every other sg in this class from a talent perspective of things and can easily score from any of the 3 levels whenever he wants to and does it efficiently as well really the only concern with him as a player is potentially being a head case in terms of being sort of a diva as there are some yellow flags in stuff he's done and said with the media but nothing to crazy and his injury issues although im not currently over concerned about it is something to at least keep a eye on

Top 10 PF's in 2026 NBA Draft

The power forward class is probably one of the best all time. The talent is insane and littered with first round talents which results in some amazing names barely missing this list so here are some of the notable honorable mentions:

HM:

- Zuby Ejifor: in almost any other class he's 100% in the top ten but he just missed this year but is a elite rebounder solid around and good defender just projects to be a rlly solid player as his career progresses

-Joshua Jefferson: a all around great player can do a little bit of everything and should be a good two way player for a nba team and is basically a bigger slower josh hart

also their are some exclusion from this list in guys I don't personally consider PFs and are more SFs or Centers (Dailyn Swain,Hannes Steinbach)

10.)Tarris Reed Jr: a 4 year senior who played with both Michigan and UConn and in his two years with UConn he played amazing and showed he can do alot of what you want a pf to do from being able to bang in the paint rebound at a high clip and also has a solid offensive game from around the basket aswell PROJ: Late 1st to early 2nd

9.) Morez Johnson Jr: is coming off a great sophomore season at Michigan where he won a national championship and was a huge contributor to it where he showed that he has a very high ceiling and is a very good rebounder and defender while also showing a lot of potential on the offensive side of the ball and even flashing maybe some 3pt shooting ability and with his age and the flashes he shown to shoot the ball I think he could become a very good starting level center in the NBA one day PROJ: Late 1st

---Talent Gap---

8.) Allen Graves: he shocked the entire NCAA having one of the best freshman season period and was Santa Claras best player last season as he showed his ability to score from all 3 levels and be a potentially elite 3 point shooter for his position something that is extremely valuable in todays modern nba on top of that he has solid size and rebounding to go along with it and with him being so young he could easily develop much further then what he current is aswell and should easily be able to fit on almost nba roster PROJ: Mid 1st

7.) Nate Ament: in his freshman season for tenesee he showed tons of high ceiling potential as at 6'10 his offensive skill set is pretty rare and is very solid with the ball in his hand being able to score at all 3 levels but the problem is he was not very efficient at all in doing what he did only shooing 39% from the field a very low mark for someone playing PF but if he's able to develop that and get better plus add some muscle he could become a absolute problem on the offensive side of the ball and could be a steal but is also a huge risk if he can't get more consistent on the offensive side of the ball all around he's probably one of the highest risk high reward players in this entire class PROJ: Mid 1st

6.)Karmin Lopez: in the NBL this season at only 19 years old he showed tons of high level potential being a rlly solid 3 point shooter as at 6"9 Lopez projects to play a very similar role as a guy like Keegan Murray in the nba as ontop of being pretty offensively talented he brings good defensive potential and his size allows him to guard 1-4 so with the two way potential and his youth and showing he can play good against pros I feel comfortable with Karmin to be a very solid starting level player on day for someone PROJ: mid 1st to Just out the lottery

---Talent Gap---

5.)Yaxel Londonborg: another member of last year NCAA Championship sqaud yaxel played a major role in contributing to it as every sense his days at UAB he's been a problem on all areas of the game and in his last season at Michigan he showed that he can do it against elite levels of competition as he is a player that has basically no weakness he's a great athlete has good size has good strength can rebound the ball very well is agile enough to guard 1-4 is a very solid 3 point shooter and can score in a plethora of different ways and if was 18 he'd have superstar potential but due to his age id say he's gonna project to be a very high level starter for almost anyone next season PROJ: Late lottery to just outside the lottery

4.)Koa Peat: he is rare athlete at the position and has a very fast 2nd jump allowing him to block shots and rebound pretty efficiently ontop of being a pretty good offensive player and with the combination of athleticism and skill to score around the basket I think the sky is the limit for him so although probably not as NBA ready as some of these other guys before him I think his ceiling is high enough to take a swing with him this high and at worst will be a less skilled Aaron Gordon PROJ: late lottery to just outside of it

---Talent Gap---

3.)Cameron Boozer: its hard to find a fault In his game as he's a great 3 point shooter for the position, a very good rebounder, a very good ball handler for position and his offensive game and ability to score from basically anywhere on the court puts him well ahead of even many even current nba PFs the only real potential problem could be perimeter defense against more agile faster players but even then I can't see it becoming a major problem PROJ: early lottery

2.)Caleb Wilson: he has one of the highest 2 way player potentials in this entire draft he's not only a 20 point per game scorer and has the ability to shoot when needed but also is a elite defender and good rebounder while not being the level of 3 point shooter you want yet he has shown great flashes and could very much develop into being elite on both sides of the ball becoming a very similar player to Jaren Jackson Jr PROJ: Early Lottery

1.)AJ Dybantsa: their are few players with his levels of athleticism he's is absolutely elite in terms on of intangibles and ontop of that he's a great scorer aswell last year avg 25.5 PPG at BYU as a freshman showing ability to score from everywhere and being able to handle the ball and bring the ball up the floor as well and his build and athleticism gives him the ability to guard 1-4 the only thing stopping him becoming a superstar is himself its all infront of him and up to how hard works cause he's one of the most talented players your gonna see PROJ: 1st overall pick

Allen Graves: he shocked the entire NCAA having one of the best freshman season period and was Santa Claras best player last season as he showed his ability to score from all 3 levels and be a potentially elite 3 point shooter for his position something that is extremely valuable in todays modern nba on top of that he has solid size and rebounding to go along with it and with him being so young he could easily develop much further then what he current is aswell and should easily be able to fit on almost nba roster PROJ: Mid 1st

My Top 10 Point Guards for 2026 Draft

- players not on list for not being a pg imo: (Daryn Peterson,Labaron Philon)

-requiremnets: 1. project to be a PG in NBA, 2. Fully Declared for NBA Draft

honarable Mentions/Just Missed List: Jakob Gilespi and Tahaad petiford

10.) Kylan Boswell: the 22 year old lead guard for Illinois this year who can facilitate at times and does everything ok enough but doesn't excel at any and probably doesn't have a particular high ceiling and has no elite traits which greatly holds him back and will project to be a UDFA

9.)Milos Uzan: Milos is a senior for Houston who has been their primary ball handler for years now and shows good defensive upside and could find a tyus jones like role in the nba but can struggle a lot on the offensive side of the ball and with him being 22 already has limited upside so could be a good bench defender for a team somewhere but probably isn't worth a using a draft pick on and I project to be a UDFA

---Talent Gap---

8.) Tamin Lipsey: is more developed both offensively and defensively then the previous guys on this list but his 6"1 Frame does hold back his ceiling but he makes up for his lack of size with elite on ball defense and great sense at jumping in passing lanes to get steals as he avg 2.1 Spg in his senior year for Iowa state and with him being a fairly efficient shooter from the filed and from 3 his upside and ability to make a role for himself in the nba is more likely then the others still projected UDFA

---Talent Gap---

7.) Christian Anderson: by far the most talented player up to this point he becomes the first player that is a projected draft pick as a mid to late 2nd rounder this is due to his very solid offensive game where he showed he can consistently score and maintain high level passing ability avg 7.2 APG last year for Texas tech combine that with being pretty fast and able to get steals due to it you could easily get a very solid player on both sides and I see him slotting into a miles mcbribe type role in the NBA the only major flaw in his game is something he can't control which is his size which at 6"2 isn't ideal for the modern NBA also I feel his offensive skillset isn't diverse enough to be elite on that side of the ball but overall a very solid player overall

6.) Jaden Bradley: a all around solid guard who can do just about everything he's a very solid defender a very solid 3 point shooter a decent playmaker and is a efficient scorer although I wouldn't say he's exactly elite in any way id compare him to someone like Torontos Jamal Shead in playstyle and wouldn't be surprised at all if he became a very solid role player off of someones bench one day and id project him a mid to late 2nd rounder

---Talent Gap---

5.) Robert McCray V: to me this is one of the most majorly underrated players in the entire draft this year he has great athleticism he can shoot the three at very sufficient clip his ball handle is very solid and is a great and efficient finisher around the rim while also being a high motor player and with him being a 6"4 guy his 2 way potential is good aswell and combine that size with the athleticism he could legit become a high level all around guard on a very good team and that isn't even to mention his very good playmaking ability aswell and if it wasn't for him being a senior I think his ceiling and spot on the list would easily by higher and the main reason for his under the radar status is most likely to his 2 seasons at Jacksonville a mid major college but there he still absolutely killed and carried that same high level play for his senior season at Florida state aswell and due to his all around potential I could see him going just outside the lottery to mid first round

---Talent Gap---

4.) Ebuka Okorie: offensively the guy is just insane he can self create with the best of them in this class and could legitimately in the right situation become a very high level scorer and if he's put on a contending team could slot in to a bench spark role where he could easily thrive as-well but more then likely id say he will be a very solid player at worst and a great starter for someone else as his movement with the ball and his handle is almost unmatched his biggest draw backs is his size and also his playmaking ability at the nba level and is projected to be a late lottery to mid first round pick

---Talent Gap---

3.) Darius Acuff Jr: Darius is a pretty all around point guard and to me is very close to Jalen Brunson when he was coming out of college and id say that he's a even better passer then Brunson was coming out but acuff can score from any part on the court he's a strong guard as well and should help him on the defensive side of the ball at the next level and has just elite scoring potential and could easily transition the rest of his game to meet that level he's also a excellent shooter from the 3 which will be a huge weapon to have as a lead guard coming into the league he's projected to be a early lottery pick, mid lottery at absolute latest

2.)Kingston Flemings: to me although not having the absolute high ceiling potential of guys like ebuka or Acuff I think his floor is high enough to put him here as in his freshman year at Houston he showed you about everything you could possibly want to see showed very good 2 way potential was a efficient scorer from everywhere and was a solid playmaker plus him being 6"4 is a huge plus as it makes him bigger then most the guards before him up to this point which should also help him on switches and even rebounding which he is very solid at for a guard so although I don't think he has superstar potential I think his ceiling is still a very high level starter and a fairly NBA ready prospect as he is right now so due to the lack of bust potential in my opinion and his still fairly high ceiling I think it makes sense to put him here and project him to be a early lottery talent

1.) Mikel Brown: he has just about everything you want in a guard and is by far the best athlete out of everyone on this list and add to the fact he stands at 6"5 he's ideal size for a lead guard and outside of the intangibles he also shows amazing scoring potential being able to self create and hit shots from anywhere efficiently all while also being a very solid playmaker and defender and due to his great intangibles backed by tons of talent and him being a one and done prospect I think his ceiling is the highest out of all point guards in this draft and could easily be a Donovan Mitchell level player and should easily be a early lottery talent

bricks and mini figs stole 200,000 from a collector

just was hoping to possibly make people aware of this situation which i found out from the youtube video from reckless ben https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wscQpkcwgNU in short this business signed a contract to sell this guys lego sets and they would give them a percentage of each sell but for some reason the corporate office took over the store and decided to not honor the contract and just keep the legos without giving them back or a percentage of it and in the video the evidence is overwhelmingly against them to the point they shut down the location to stop from having to pay out the lawsuit they lost
