I have an 02 4.7. I've also had a can of CRC Intake and Valve cleaner for about a year, and haven't done it because I can't get anyone to help to just hold the RPMs at 2k. I had an epiphany last night that I can use the throttle cable under the hood, and my bluetooth adapter/Torque Pro to hold it at 2k and just do it myself.

That all being said, with a stock airbox, which vac line should I pull to spray the cleaner through? Does it even really matter? Or do I just disconnect the box from the intake and spray it direct and deal with the engine running weird from bad air mix?

Anyway. Any advice would be appreciated.

What's the go-to for a holster for these things? I have a gen2 with the green dot, and all I can find is either IWB holsters, or ones that list like 20 different guns that fit it which doesn't fill me with confidence.
