Front load Whirlpool washer - change the front panel?
So, about 3 years ago, I had to replace my venerable top loading washer... and selected Whirlpool. Little did I know of the trouble coming... anyway, we USE our washer. Starting seeing the "suds" warning which has nothing to do with suds but low water flow. Unless you have something weird in the washer, this error means your filter is clogged.
So, I have the older model where you have to disassemble the front end to access the filter. Whoever designed that is the 3rd person in my life I would run over in a parking lot. What were they thinking? So, karma being a $itch and all, the latest release of this model has a round access port on the front to allow easy access to the pump filter. I guess Whirlpool heard from some people....
So the above is for entertainment value. I know some appliance repair folks frequent this reddit. Do you think it would be possible to replace the entire lower front cover with the newer version?
