I just had the most brutal l loss of my whole career
Playing at my local skirmish and trying out a new kha'zix deck
Round 1, I match into Jayce Aurora. It's not my favourite match up as a Rengar main but I've got star-crossed and fizz to help this time. Game 1 is a close match but I wasn't able to stop the aurora from coming down and got overrun by dragons.
Game 2: I sabotage my opponent the turn before they can play Aurora and take the aurora. My opponent plays clairvoyance leaving 3 on top and mobilize. I hid a here to help with fizz in hand and passed. My opponent starts off with a bellows on my backline and I respond with the here to help to play the fizz to play the sabotage in the trash and snipe the second aurora. They had an empowered platewyrm egg so they were still able to hard cast an elder in hand but I had the star crossed to save the few units that didn't die. On my turn I start to redevelop and pass. My opponent top decks the 3rd aurora and proceeds to demolish me from there.
Sometimes you're just not meant to win, I was so furious but could help but laugh with my opponent at the sequence of events. Still managed to make the top 8 for prizing so I'll take it.
