Hi, I want to learn how to use Root for data analysis, plotting and fitting and don't know where exactly to start. I am using a M2 Macbook. So I have a few questions maybe some of you can answer:

Where should I start?

Are there any good youtube tutorials that cover everything from beginning to end? (how to install, how to open a file and access info, plotting things...)

Should I learn C++ before starting? (So far I have been using python)

Is there any sort of Desctop application or is everything done in terminal?

Is it even worth learning? (I was using python with uproot once and it kinda worked but was very slow)

Hi, I am relatively new to Final Cut Pro and wanted to edit a video of myself.

I have one question: Why are the Library Files so damn large. Mine is about 57GB where all original video and audio files are in total below 1GB. I have used some text and generators but I do not expect those to take up this much space.

I watched some tutorials and when starting I checked the box, that in the Library are only those Proxy files, so I think this means that my original files won't even be saven in the library itself.

So how can the file size be THAT large.
