Streamer.bot 1.0 – Do I still need multiple instances for YouTube + Twitch chat timers?

Title: Streamerbot 1.0 – Do I still need multiple instances for YouTube + Twitch timers?

Hello everyone,

Before the release of version 1.0, I ran into an issue when trying to set up timers with automated messages for both YouTube and Twitch chats during a multistream. Whenever I tried to handle both platforms in a single instance of Streamerbot, the app would break and stop working properly.

To work around this, I had to run two separate instances of Streamer.bot:

  • One dedicated to Twitch
  • One dedicated to YouTube

Each instance had its own timers that monitored their respective chats and sent automated messages based on time intervals and chat activity.

With the release of version 1.0, I’m wondering if this is still necessary. Can Streamerbot now handle timers and automated messages for both YouTube and Twitch chats within a single instance, or do I still need to run two separate instances?

Thanks in advance for any help!

Timeline Zoom Behavior Changed in DaVinci Resolve 21 – Can It Follow Playhead Again?

Hello everyone,

Before updating to DaVinci Resolve 21, zooming in on the timeline would automatically center around the playhead position. Since the update, this behavior seems to have changed, and I haven’t been able to find a setting to restore it.

Now, timeline zooming feels less intuitive. I’m aware that it’s possible to zoom based on the cursor position, but I strongly prefer the previous behavior where the zoom focused on the playhead.

Is there a way to enable playhead-centered zooming again in Resolve 21, or has this feature been removed or changed?

Thanks in advance for any help!

I'm thinking of buying a laptop for chill editing on the couch after work or on the go with Davinci Resolve but with my budget and the current prices I'll have to go with a used/refurbished machine. While my main PC is on windows, I'm eyeing out a M2 macbook pro with 16gigs of ram because it's in my budget but I'm a bit unsure. I'm editing 1080p stuff for my personal channels and I don't believe I will edit 4k videos anytime soon.

Do you have any advice on that?
