I’ve been following the stem mods for the CDJ-3000, XZ, AZ and RX3, and the part that kept bugging me was the prep. Separating a crate on a laptop takes ages, so I put together a small web app that does it on GPUs I have at home.

You pick what you’re playing on, drop in some tracks, and it splits them into vocals, drums, bass and the rest with Demucs. You can preview the stems in the browser before downloading. For a CDJ-3000 running cdj3k-mods, it writes the stems in the mod’s own format so they should load on the deck. For everything else, including Denon gear and DAWs, you just get the stems as separate audio files.

It’s at https://www.clouddsp.ca if anyone wants to try it. It’s free, there’s no account, and files get deleted after 48 hours. I'm still improving the load times as I go.

I get that the flair pops up in the video but there should be an option to block all AI produced videos in the settings somewhere. Not to mention, I'd like the flair to pop up before I click the video instead of finding out 5 seconds into the video itself.

A local retailer are selling two CDJ 900NXS and two XDJ 1000 MK1 for the same price ($500 CAD). Both are really good condition, they were used for backups for a club and mostly was never really used as much. Although I am debating on which one. I already own an DJM 900NXS and an DDJ XP2. I mix both standalone and laptop. I like the fact that the XDJ 1000 mk1 has hot cues but I got told if I wanted to follow the club standard that I should go for the CDJ 900NXS. Although I am stumped because that has memory cues and an older display. I don't know which one to choose.
