Looking at a few new investments in the companies that put stuff into data centers. 3 popped up on my radar after hearing about how government wants each data center to run on its own and Not increase stress of local grid or raise prices for general public.
- Tesla Energy - branch under Tesla that makes energy. It created MegaBlock electrical batteries and has brought on 15 Gigawatts of energy, and rather quickly at that. They make rechargeable batteries using the grids nigh time capacity that gets wasted when people sleep. Tesla Energy is better margins than cars. And they are on pace to out earn car segment by the end of this year… thus making Tesla more of an Energy company.
- Wesco international - they have connect the mega blocks to the grid and mega blocks to each other to make the mega packs. Basically communication between the blocks and each other as well as the blocks in the grid.
- Wolfspeed - one of the few companies that creates silicone carbide using these batteries, reduces heat and increases efficiency and I like hearing few companies because competition is then low.
Has anyone else heard anything about these 2 and Tesla energy? Any suggestions or research that may help?
