Some werewolf designs or artwork I’ve seen over the years, these embody the design ethos I prefer- that of a feral creature more wolf than man. I prefer my werewolves bestial, maybe semi-intelligent, but savage nonetheless.

I’m sorry if I offend anyone, but these are the laziest and least interesting werewolf designs I’ve ever seen. At least the 40s films had the excuse of having almost zero special effects on hand, but modern films don’t have that fig leaf, and I detest it.

A “proper” werewolf should be mostly wolf, or at least have a wolf head on a humanoid body like Dog Soldiers. These guys might as well be hairy zombies, especially when there isn’t a transformation aspect (Howl’s “werewolves” don’t shift back IIRC).

Thoughts?
