How would I connect this radio to my car?
I have a 1999 Honda CRV, not the original owner. Right now it has an aftermarket radio with no cd player, so I bought a Kenwood excelon with a cd player, second hand. Both DDIN. on the left is the picture of the wiring coming from the car, it is wires, wire caps, then it leads directly to this black 12 pin plug that plugs directly into the already installed, previous radio. This Kenwood I bought second hand, I think has a wiring harness for a different car? It has these 2 white connectors. Now Im just kind of lost on how I would connect it, would I have to cut wires on the car side? and connect them through wire caps? what about the Kenwood side? I don't think buying a metra wiring harness for my car would help, as i dont think it could connect to anything. Im pretty lost, any suggestions?
