Do ATS look at "skills" sections, or do you need to interweave those keywords into job history? Or both?
Basically post of title. I'm refreshing my resume this weekend, since I've done hundreds of applications with no hit rate.
My job histories for each company specify the products I worked on and their (and my) impacts (financial, growth, etc.) , with some skills-based buzzwords. But I haven't been putting a lot of role-specific skills or tools in them otherwise.
I'm applying for lead BA and lead product owner roles, as well as non-senior product manager. Do I need to shove as many keywords in there as possible, or can I bundle them in a "skills" section? TIA
