I’m genuinely curious what role you see Braden in if any. Hoosier fan at heart so it will be odd rooting for the guy but I feel like he could fully contribute in a TJ type way

Japanese fan here. We heard the news of Kawamura playing for Pacers in Summer League.

As far as I've seen Kawamura's highlights which our country's daily sports news programs show, I think he has proven he's a legit NBA point guard. He makes his shots and great assists. Any team needs a star-level point guard with high percentage shooting & defensive ability like Kawamura.

Also, official NBA channel has already posted his highlight tapes multiple times since he came to the league. We've been wondering why he doesn't get more minutes. He's so great.

As a Japanese fan, I want Pacers to give him a 2 or 3-year standard NBA contract for Haliburton's backup. Kawamura seems better than any back end of roster players or two-way players.

Deep in the annals of July, one thing I always look forward to is summer league. And tis the season!

Over the years, I’ve heard others’ stories and experiences about attending summer league. I’ve heard about the chill vibes and randomly running into players between games, so much so that one of my sports dreams is actually to go to Summer League.

So I’ve got some Summer League discussion starters for yall to embrace our current moment on this Pacers journey.

1. Who is gonna be on the summer league roster? Who are you looking forward to seeing? Is there any way the players we see this summer could actually break through and make an impact in the regular season?

3. Have you attended summer league games in the past? Any lore you can share? (smoke a bowl with Jeff Foster? Get a golf tip from Jim O’Brien? Share sexually charged eye contact with Lance after an emphatic dunk? This is the kinda stuff I wanna hear)

4. If the Pacers win the summer league championship, should we hang a banner? Would you purchase a 2026 summer league championship commemorative t shirt and DVD with exclusive behind the scenes interviews with coaches and players?

Now we have both of them on the summer league roster, and both of them being undersized point guards and having similar play styles. Yuki already proved that he can pretty much dominate the G league while the highest level Braden has played was college. My perspective is Yuki is better in almost everything except for height but this is just a subjective opinion. What are your thoughts?
