Fanjam Ticket Offer/ISO thread.

We are likely going to have 6 tickets to giveaway for Fanjam tomorrow. If you’re interested, let me know. Free of course.

I’ll edit the post when they are gone, but if other folks have tickets they want or want to give away, you’re welcome to post here too.

Edit to add: If you get tickets or if the tickets you offered are gone, please add a comment saying you got what you needed or your tickets are gone!

Edit to add: I still have a couple more.

Rocky Ripple can use your help even this evening.

Update 12:05pm Sunday - they need all sorts of supplies for getting water out of homes, water snack etc. Details in the comments. If you have a connection to a hardware store or businesses that do mitigation, they could use your help too.

Edit: this morning they are taking a rest but will be asking for straw and for it to be spread in the park. I’ve put a photo of their most recent post with details.

Folks are still actively working on filling and placing sandbags. They are looking for more hands, donations of water and easy to handle snacks. Details of what they need and where to go are in the photo above. This was just posted on Facebook and is still an active need/request.

First dose, trillium health review, and a couple questions I could use help with!

Trillium Experience
After probably too much research, I opted to sign up with Trillium health. First 3 months is $399 and then $599/ 3 months after that. No monthly fee and no cost for an appointment. No insurance coverage.

I filled everything out online on Friday July 17th in the evening. By Saturday morning July 18th, my prescription was approved. Tirzepatide 2.5mg for 4 weeks, 5mg for 4 weeks, 7.5mg for 4 weeks. I selected Hallandale pharmacy because I was nervous about additives.

Monday July 20th, I got a text update that my order was shipped and a tracking number provided. I had my script Tuesday July 21st before noon. It was such a seamless process. I asked a couple questions in the Trillium subreddit and one of the employees (maybe even the CEO) responded to me and was helpful.

5 stars. Seriously.

Microdosing & my goals
I’ve never taken a GLP before. I have PCOS, am in Perimenopause and was on Metformin for the better part of a year that I recently discontinued. I’m on HRT (Progesterone) as well.

I was worried about side effects and knew I was going to have Monday off so I decided to put my first injection off until tonight. I was honestly so worried about injecting myself and side effects.

I’m incredibly sensitive to medication and knew I was going to microdose. I am hoping that the glp will help some with inflammation, some of my reproductive symptoms and if I could lose about 20lb (that’s mostly visceral) then great but honestly not necessary. I had initially decided on .5 but ultimately decided to start slower at .25.

I was given Easy touch syringes and had a hell of a time getting my head around how to properly dose. The syringes I have are for 100 units and when I’m taking so little it’s hard to be exact in what I’m pulling.

Anyway, I did it. I gave myself the injection and the anxiety leading up to it was way worse than the actual injection. I went in my abdomen and it was not painful at all.

Questions

  1. Do you have a link to the syringes you buy? I was looking at .3cc Easy touch syringes but then there were gauges and lengths and I got totally overwhelmed but I need it to be as painless as possible. I was looking at other posts and a lot of folks mention Amazon but I don’t see the easy touch brand there.

  2. Where do you get your sharps containers or do you have a needle breaker thing?

  3. How comfortable are you using past the BUD and the 28 day rule? Being that I’m starting off at 1/10 the first dose, this dosage if it works will last me a very long time. I’m following the rules for using an alcohol wipe and keeping everything sterile. As I understand it, if it looks cloudy you toss it?

  4. Any things you found that help mitigate symptoms as you’re getting started?

I’m planning on high protein, electrolytes, and I’m already on B, D, omega and some other supplements for PCOS. I know I need fiber too so if you’ve got a rec for that, I’ll take it. I was considering Metamucil tablets. I plan on doing regular strength training so I’m not losing lean muscle.

Thanks Everyone!

If this sub didn’t exist, I wouldn’t have started this journey so I really appreciate all you’ve shared about your experiences. This space has made a really overwhelming process so much easier and less intimidating to manage. So Thanks!

First order and dosages

I signed up today. The website says 2.5 mg weekly (tirz) and I requested a 3 month supply. But I think I would prefer to have a higher dose so I can titrate up or down as I please. Is there a way to let the physician know what I’m thinking?

My account also says “required action” asking me to complete my visit but when I click the button, it says it’s complete. Is this just what it looks like until the physician reviews?

Tirz with No additives or B6? Preferred provider pharmacy?

I have anxiety managed by meds and fatigue from low iron (had infusions earlier in the year), B12 and D. Also in Peri. My doctors are working on getting my hormones and vitamins worked out so the fatigue is significantly better.

I’ve seen starting GLPs can cause fatigue but I’ve also seen folks mention feeling energized. What are your experiences with B6 vs no additives in terms of side effects like anxiety and fatigue?

Do you have a preferred compound pharmacy or online provider?

I plan on microdosing because I’ve always been sensitive to meds and almost always use “sub clinical” doses.
