EDH(ish) cube to play in 3/4 players

Hello everybody!

I'd like your opinion on this cube. I'd like to know if it lacks good cards or something doesn't look good in it.

We play in 4 players, sometimes in 3, but it's more rare.

Basic rules are:

- 4 packs each, single pick, draft order reversed each new booster.

- 60 cards deck (59 + commander)

- Colour identity to respect as classic commander

- Possibility to use "The prismatic Piper" to add a colour

The rest of the rules are the same of a classic edh game.

About the table and the players: we have tendency to end everybody on same turn, or at least in few turns after first death, because we don't love to keep players outside of the game.

We have two competitve players who have been to a lot of tournaments, while me and another one are at a good level, but not like them.

Both those aspects make us tends to build combos decks, so colours like red and white, and their combinations, feel a bit weeker.

The cube is this one: https://cubecobra.com/cube/list/d4183474-bab9-4a5f-8042-59f5d4139d6e

Strange ideas

Hello there!

We are a group of 3/4 players.

We have a huge cube with every power house card.

We play making Edh like decks: 59+1commander, and same rules about colour identity etc.

What's the problem?

Red and white are only playable as support colours.

Why that?

In a 4 players game you use a lot of resources just to get rid of one players, but it's almost impossible to kill the whole table with those colours.

So, how to solve this?

We were thinking about creating home rules and introducing rewards once you resolve objectives.

We still has to think about the rules, but I'd like to share with you this idea and talk about ideas for this "format".

The aim of those rewards are to help white and red against other colours.

We still have to think if we just need some boosts (i.e. every tot damage you do to a player you draw X) or give out points and the winner, at the end of the game, is whoever did more points.

Boost sounds better, because it keeps the classic gameplay.

Hi there, I have some questions about rulebook.

  1. When you count rulebook pages, do you count index, FAQs and rules aid too?

Some editors, or in general players, evaluate how long a rulebook is, so I'm trying to keep it short, but don't know if, during apitch for example, should I count these pages or not.

  1. Do you prefer every, even rare, situation explained in the main rules, or if the trigger is very rare, a clarifying section at the end of the rulebook?

Sorry, I know these are silly questions, and maybe useless doubts, but I'd like to be sure about those aspects :)
