I received 3 emails in a row to reset a password. I dont use that email for this account so I wanted to delete the reddit account attached to the email.
I accidentally made a new reddit account with that email with "sign in with google". So I went through an old email I got from reddit, clicked the username in the email, but it said the account has been banned.
I contacted support, they asked me a bunch of questions I couldn't answer (like was 2fa added to the account) and then they sent me an (automated) email saying they were working on it,, but it also asked me to reply with certain phrases but like,, I already answered the question by filling out the form, and like I said, I cant actually answer these questions anyways.
So whats happening? Am I waiting for them to email me again? Do I reply and say I cant answer the questions and to read the form I filled out that explains everything? Or should I re explain everything?
I dont understand whats going on. Why did they asked the questions in the form but also in the email? Am I waiting for them or are they waiting for me?
I just want to check whats on the account before I delete it because someone is trying to get into it.
