I didn't get banned

I got a 3 day ban for "inciting violence" but I did not. I won the appeal and can respond and all but it days this for some reason. Can it be removed please?

Account was banned for spam and successfully appealed. Can I restore my old posts?

Unsure why but Reddit flagged my account for spam and banned it. Sorted it through the appeal link and now appear to be fully unbanned but my previous posts are all still "Removed" and I was wondering if there is a way to restore them?

Can I charge Reddit users to make custom icons/edits/posters for their subs?

As I've been doing these edits for my own sub, I really enjoy doing it and think I'm pretty decent at it. I have helped a couple people out for free before but I'm looking to start charging for it.

But of course, I don't wanna do anything that Reddit might not allow. Is there anything I may not be aware of? Or is this totally fine?

Post blocked by Reddit automated filters – no suspension or appeal option

Hello,

I am looking for some help understanding an issue with my Reddit account.

I recently tried to create a post in a subreddit because I had a genuine question. I had not been active on Reddit for a long time (no recent posts or comments), and I mainly logged in because I wanted to ask this specific question.

The post was automatically removed with the message:

“Sorry, this post was removed by Reddit’s filters.”

I contacted the subreddit moderators, and they informed me that the removal was caused by Reddit itself rather than by the subreddit moderation team. Apparently, my account or post was flagged by Reddit’s automated systems as a potential spam or rule-breaking risk.

I understand that my account has relatively low karma and that Reddit’s systems need to protect communities from spam. However, I assumed that in such cases the subreddit moderators would still have the ability to review the post manually and approve it if they determine that it is legitimate and does not violate any rules.

What confuses me is that:

  • I have not received any warning or notification about breaking Reddit rules.
  • My account does not appear to be suspended or restricted.
  • I cannot submit an appeal because Reddit says my account is not suspended.
  • The moderators cannot approve the post because the restriction appears to come from Reddit itself.

Could someone please clarify:

  • Is there a way to request a review of an account that is being blocked by Reddit’s automated filters but is not officially suspended?
  • Is there a specific process for appealing this type of automated restriction?
  • Is this a temporary trust/safety measure, and if so, how can it be resolved?

I also tried to ask for help on r/help regarding the appeal/suspension process, but I was not able to post there either. Since I cannot submit an appeal and I cannot get clarification through the usual channels, I am running out of options for understanding what happened and how to resolve it.

Thank you for any guidance.

Is there a way to disable notifications when someone replies to another user on a comment thread I'm in?

Like this

Why did I suddenly have to make a new account?

So I went to Log into Reddit, the same way I always did. and it had me go through the steps to make a new account. And here I am. With a New Account. Same Email. But different name, none of my saved communities, nothing.

I lost everything, and my emails show nothing, no deleted/deleting account, no warnings, just "This person replied to this post" and when I click those links, it says deleted for the name. I never deleted the account ;-;

Karma help

Hi reddit, I made a short video that I wanted to post on r/StableDiffusion, but I can't due to low karma. Can you recommend a subreddit where the karma requirements are minimal and where I can increase my karma? Alternatively, what is the minimum karma for r/StableDiffusion, if it's even worth trying. Thank you.

Long-Time Reddit Reader, Low Karma – Any Tips?

I've been on Reddit for about a year, but mostly as a reader. I rarely post or comment, so I have very little karma.

What are the best ways for a long-time lurker to start earning karma and participating more?

Is it possible to appeal a rejected appeal?

I just got a warning because I quoted a movie where the character said "you could [unalive] yourself" and appealled hoping a human would get it (there was literally no way someone could even misunderstand my comment) but I'm pretty sure a second bot just said no.

Can I even do anything? Or do I just have to ignore my account having a warning?

EDIT: Just realized the appeal said the "decision was made with no automation" and I honestly don't get it. My comment was almost identical to my "fixed" one: https://www.reddit.com/r/obsessionmovie/comments/1upcrnj/comment/ow16rbo/?context=3 (kind of spoilers for Obsession) How could someone think I was threatening anybody??

Is 6k karma for 14 day old account suspicious?

Realized I’ve gained a lot (or what I think is a lot?) of karma in short amount of time, I’m wondering if that will make me look suspicious to other users and mods

Can't comment

Good day all. I was wondering if anyone else has the same problem as me right now where I can't comment of other posts. I could a few days ago but now everytime I try to comment it doesn't give me the 'join the conversation' option. This is the 3rd or 4th time this has happened to me.

Please could I get some advice on how to fix this.

Thank you

Reddit Says I Can't Register My Phone Number Because Someone Else Used It Years Ago

I got a new number a while back. I went to my settings to change the number on my account, but it says it's already in use.

Can you seriously not change your number if anyone who previously had it is also a redditor? Couldn't they just send a text asking you to confirm you have the number now?

My previous Reddit account got shadowbanned and I honestly have no idea why.

Pretty frustrating.

I wasn't posting NSFW stuff or running bots. I was mostly sharing what I was building and commenting around programming communities.

One day I noticed nobody was replying anymore.

Turned out the account had been shadowbanned.

I appealed but never got an explanation.

So here I am starting from zero.

If anyone has gone through this before, I'd genuinely appreciate any advice on what not to do this time.
