Documenting a storage error that seemingly doesn’t come up too often; this is only a support issue if I’m incorrect.
So here’s hoping I’m in correct I guess!
have a 6.3 gig Minecraft world.
When it got around 3.9 gigs I could no longer make a back up copy bc there wasn’t enough save space, on my device, or on the cloud.
My Xbox is 93.1 % free space.
In addition, after following the instructions from the device on getting a usb 3.0 with 128 gb of space or more and formatting it games to make a back up copy, I can ether only copy my user file (which has the outdated word file at 3.9 gb) or my total reserve space (which is 44 gb, and this doesn’t sold the “out of free space” issue) onto the usb and can in no way access my individual world file of 6.3 gb.
The only work around of this is to buy realms, bc on realms they didn’t reverse engineer it to be user unfriendly- on realms you can see your individual world saves.
Given realms also has a world size cap, I cannot access my 6.3 world file there ether lol, as there is not enough free space to put my world into realms.
Every single step in this process that is preventing me from using my Xbox as a gaming device appears to he intentional, but I’m finding that hard to see as true given how bad the design is.
The end result is that I have a 6.3 gig world on an Xbox one.
On a device that is 93.7 % empty.
And am unable to play the only game I have, bc there isn’t any free space to do so.
Anyways, just wanna document that this exists, so boop (but more so, correct me if I’m wrong, please!)
