PSA: careful changing wheels if your tool box is loaded

Almost died, not joking. I did a stupid thing. Was changing the wheels on my 56" top + bottom. Jacked it up, but didn't lock the drawers.

I was doing the 3rd wheel and a drawer started to open. I tried to push it back quickly, but it was too late. Yes I had Jack stands under it, but because of the forward momentum it was useless.

If you're changing wheels on a stacked top+bottom, then fully unload the toolbox first, including removing the drawers, and then proceed with extreme caution.

I was screaming for help for about 40 minutes before my wife came home and ran around screaming for my neighbors to come help. I feel so bad, she was terrified and shaking.

Top box, side cabinet and end locker are all fine or easily salvageable; however that bottom box is completely fucked. With that said, I probably won't be able to walk tomorrow, and I'm covered in gashes and my left leg is swelling as we speak, but I'll gladly take a fucked bottom box and a few injuries in exchange for being alive.

Don't be me, don't be stupid. Stay safe HF subreddit.

Posts missing?

I'm on the android app, and it looks like 4 days of posts are missing. I sort by new and I get a few posts that are hours old, and then after 3 posts it immediately jumps to posts that are 5 days and older. Once again, I am definitely sorting by "new"

Anyone else seeing or experiencing this?

Looking for feedback on coverpro 12ft x 20ft garage

Looking to get some feedback about this portable garage. I was thinking of using my 20% off coupon and harbor freight rewards cash to basically get it at no cost. I want to use it for additional storage space so I can get things out of my garage and out of my house.... as opposed to paying for a storage unit.

https://www.harborfreight.com/12-ft-x-20-ft-trucksuv-portable-garage-58741.html

How do you feel about the quality? Is it heavy duty or flimsy?

Also, the specifications say that it's 8ft tall, but is that measured at the walls, or is that measured at the peak of the roof/tent (highest point in the center of the structure, vs measured at the wall). I'm hoping it's 8ft walls since I want to put some shelving in there.

Harbor freight branded merch

I was talking to an employee today, and he told me about a site where you can buy harbor freight branded merch (not icon or other tool brands, just harbor freights name).

I thought I'd share... If anyone wants to look like a harbor freight employee, then look no further 😅.

I might get a beanie, and/or a zip jacket... just because they're cheap, and I am seemingly a harbor freight simp.

Edit: received a DM, taking down the URL
