I'm trying to work on my 1987 Ford Fiesta mk2 1.1l Supersport.
I already jacked up the rear wheels using jackpoint B. They are in wheelchribs now.
I tried to use jackpoint D for the front wheels. I saw the owners manual and it says that you should use a block of wood to just touch the bean and not anything else..
Well I tried and the block flew away.. Which is not a good way to leave your car hanging..
Since I don't want to do that again. I want to try jackpoint B again. But the service manual mentions not to jack up the trailing arm. For the rear wheels I saw that distinction clearly but for the front wheels it's not so clear to me.
I'm 95% sure the area I circeled is the right place. But after this surprise I want someone else to confirm.
Any response would be really appreciated.
