I have a friend who used to date a co-worker of ours. She's his ex-girlfriend now. They were really into each other, but after a few months, they had some misunderstandings and broke up. As far as I know, things did not just work out, they are not together anymore. I do see her work sometimes, and we get along pretty well. Lately, I have been thinking about asking her out, but I'm not sure if I will be overstepping my boundary, since she's my friend's ex. The thing is, I don't want to mess up my friendship or create drama at work, so I'm trying to be careful. Would it be wrong for me to ask her out, or is it okay since they are no longer together?
