Couple looking for a third help
Hey! So me and my partner (we've been going out over 2.5 years now - both 30-35 years old) have mostly always been monogamous. We find each other very attractive and have great sex. We also get a lot of looks from guys, so we know that we're a hot couple (okay, enough boasting!).
But we have wanted to explore inviting a third into our sex lives for a while now and still haven't managed to do it. Nearly a year of talking about it, but not actually getting to do it. We only want a one night stand where we're both there, nothing individual or repeated (unless that happens somehow). We have been using Grindr on and off to look, and sometimes have been out at a bar together and have looked for guys we find cute.
At a music festival, we found a couple who we hung out with for the day, just kissing and sharing each-other - it was fun! And then another separate night, we kissed a guy in a bar, but it was early and a Saturday night, and the guy left as he was with friends who were going to a club.
We find that Grindr is quite difficult to co-ordinate. We both need to be horny, and then we need to find another guy who is game. Also Grindr is quite seedy, and with the ads etc, it's quite frustrating to use (we could pay I guess). We also both need to be attracted to the guy, which has made us discover that maybe we're quite picky! Ideally, we ask a guy to come meet us for a drink first, check the vibe and that we're all keen, and then head back to ours to explore the trio - but guys on Grindr just want to come over and f**k, or they just ghost us after saying yes.
My question is - are there any other couples out there who have invited a third, and how did you do it? What was the best way to find a third? We have talked about asking a friend/someone we already know, but haven't managed to think of anyone who would be up for it. Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you!
