I recently adopted a cat and overall things have been going really well, but I do feel a little guilty leaving for work during the day.

When I get home he seems fine, but definitely more energetic and attention seeking after being alone for hours.

I already have a few toys and a scratching post, but I am curious what other people use to keep indoor cats mentally stimulated while they are away.

Just looking for general enrichment ideas or small things that made a noticeable difference for your pets.
