Alternative to Neutrogenia Makeup Wipes

First I just want to say I know that makeup wipes are not good for the environment. So I try my best not to use them.

But I'm grieving right now and going through severe depression and some days I'm not able to get the motivation to get out of bed and wash my face. So I keep neutrogenia wipes by my bed.

I no longer support Neutrogenia.

Does anyone know of alternatives to those makeup remover wipes?

Please only suggest wipes as I stated above.

Thank you

Edit: To the person asking why I didn't drop neutrogenia 10 years ago: I didn't know about this before. I literally found out about this yesterday. Had I known before I would have dropped neutrogenia then. I don't think it's fair to criticize people for something they had no idea about. Supposedly she wrote about it in her book which only came out 3 months ago. Which I hadn't read so I was unaware. I found this out through an article yesterday. Regardless it's never too late to stand up for what you believe in.

To everyone else thank you for the support and suggestions. Means a lot to me. <3

Has anyone used a Volufiline stick? Thoughts?

Awhile back I got a Korean brand volufiline serum from Sungboon and it didn't do anything for me. Now I'm seeing a Medicube brand volufiline stick/balm and seeing a lot of hype but every single review I have seen for it is pretty much only on tiktok and they are all ads, affiliate links, or sponsorships. I haven't seen any actual reviews from people who aren't making a commission off it which makes me wonder if any of the reviews are honest.

Has anyone used the medicube one? If so, what are your thoughts?

If not the medicube one, have you tried a different brand vollifine product that works?

I've never used the brand medicube so I'm not familiar with any of their products.

Sun protective clothing

I'm a big sunscreen advocate and use sunscreen religiously and always will be.

I was looking into buying some sun protective clothing and then realized that I've never gotten sunburnt or sun damage through my regular clothing before.

I was curious so I looked up how much sun protection is in regular clothing and it said regular clothing only has anywhere from spf 1 to 3. So basically regular clothing has almost no sun protection.

If they made an actual sunscreen that only had spf 1 to 3 it would be horrific, not enough to protect us at all, and would most definitely cause severe damage or even skin cancer.

So what is the science on why most of us don't seem to get sunburnt or sun damage through our clothing?

and has anyone in this community gotten sunburn through their clothing before?

Is this brand scamming their customers?

Blocking the name of the websites and the brand that I think is scamming because I'm not trying to get a cease and desist from this company.

I have one of the main red light mask that starts with "Om" and it has the same pattern and looks exactly the same as this one for $30. It claims to have the same infrared amount. I saw this selling on both cheap websites from china and on a legitimate website that sells international skincare where I purchase my Korean sunscreens.

So is "Om" buying these cheap masks, slapping their name on it, and then selling it for $400? Because wth? If so I feel scammed knowing it's worth next to nothing and I could have gotten a $30 one on another site instead of paying $400.

Do I need to wear SPF if I'm indoors by a window but have semi- translucent curtains?

I know you're supposed to wear sunscreen even indoors if you are by a window. But does that apply to a window with semi-translucent curtains? These curtains are not translucent enough to see through them. But also not thick enough to be fully opaque during the day. I sit about 6 feet away from it.

So when I've been staying indoors by this window I haven't been wearing sunscreen thinking I was fine because of the curtains.

But now I'm starting to think maybe I should wear it in here just in case sun is still getting in. What do you think?

Has anyone tried face yoga/ face exercise

I've been seeing a lot of face yoga/ face exercises on my YouTube feed recently. I was wondering if anyone has tried it and what you think? I would love to make my face look more tight and lifted looking, specifically my lower face. But I'm also worried doing these exercises would grow my masseter muscles more which I don't want.

Would love to know your experience and if you think it's worth the time?

Has anyone used the Zuvi Colorbox?

It's a machine that can make over 1000+ custom colors. Sounds cool but I want to hear other peoples reviews before considering buying it.

Has anyone noticed their skin improving when changing their diet?

Hello, I see posts all the time from dermatologists and plastic surgeons saying that eating certain foods or eliminating certain foods can improve your skin. I know we all know that eating healthy is really important for our body and overall health but does it really affect the appearance of our skin? I personally am a sweet tooth and I am addicted to sugar especially chocolate and I really struggle to stiop eating it. But if it does improve skin then that might motivate me more to hold back on the sugar.

So I was wondering have any of you noticed a difference in your skin from improving your diet? If so what improvements did you see? And what foods did you notice made a difference?

Lines on the lips

Hello, Are there any products or treatments to fix lines on the lips? I feel like I have wrinkly lips. I had lip filler once in 2018 and that helped fill the lines in. But I don't want to get lip filler again because I'm trying to stay away from fillers in general that can cause migration.

Any suggestions?

Dermatologist says to avoid the Medicube VT Reedle Shot at all cost. Long term damage to the skin.

This is a dermatologist talking about the potential permanent damage of this product.

There's a lot of information in this video because it includes research papers , studies, and how she looked at it under the microscope. It also includes pictures of the dermis and allergic reactions and so on.

But basically to sum it up: These needle spicuals are mixed with other ingredients since it's not pure needles it is a needle cream/serum. Which means those ingredients that would be safe on top of the skin are going deep inside the skin where those ingredients are not safe. So this can cause severe allergic reactions even years later. It can cause fevers, joint pain, granulomas, arthralgia, malaise, high inflammation in the blood, and more side effects. These allergic reactions aren't always immediate it can show up years later because it can be triggered by a virus, an illness, or an autoimmune disorder. And nowhere on the website or anywhere does it say size of the needles.

EDIT it won't let me change the title of this post but I accidentally didn't enter both product names in the title. Here are the product names mentioned in the video:

-VT Reedle Shot

-The Medicube One Day Exosome Shot

Although she only mentioned those two products her sentiment applies to all products that contain spicuals.
