31[M4F] Hailing frequencies open, nerd seeking nerd

Stardate: 2026.49. I’ve been in Melbourne for nearly five months now after moving from the U.S. for work and am in a place where I am seeking a relationship. Connections have not been very easy to find thus far, but such is the life of being neurodivergent as well as a newcomer starting from scratch.

About me:

I am a 31-year-old big and beautiful bear of a man (3XB). I am 178 cm tall, am Caucasian, and have blue eyes and dark brown hair. I’m an atmospheric scientist (blue shirt) who enjoys a great deal of sci-fi (especially Star Trek) as well as b-movies. By hobby, I practice game design for a few old, niche video games, collect and build with Lego, enjoy board and card games, practice cartography, and whatever revolving special interest happens to have captured my attention at the time. My flavor of neurodiversity gives me a big, strong heart as I’m not afraid to show my emotions and vulnerable side. I'm usually nervous getting to know someone at first, but after forming a connection I'm an open book. I prefer directness and blunt, honest truth.

Who I seek:

I seek someone who is hopefully as much of a nerd as I am. I seek someone who is in the age range of 25-35, and preferably someone who resides in the southeast region of Melbourne. I seek someone with progressive values that would be foundational to a United Federation of Planets. I am looking for something long-term as I don't think returning to the U.S. is going to be a viable option.

Hoping to hear from you on the subspace frequencies.

31 [M4F] BBM scientist seeking nerd

Hello all! I arrived in Melbourne from the U.S three months ago and have gotten myself established to a point where I am seeking out something romantic, especially as the U.S. is looking increasingly less viable as a place to return to. I'm a 31-year old man, am 178 cm tall with a big bear body (big and beautiful), and am Caucasian with blue eyes and dark brown hair. Some might say I'm quirky, which makes sense as I'm neurodivergent. I'm a bit mysterious, though that shroud of mystery dissipates and I become an open book once I'm comfortable around someone. I have a big, soft heart and am not afraid to show emotion. I conduct research for a living and I enjoy video games and designing custom content for them. I also enjoy board games, sci-fi television and movies (especially Star Trek), and am recently getting back into collecting Lego. Being new to Melbourne, I have no previous connections to any family or friends here, so I'm hoping to meet some amazing women (mainly in the age range of 25-35) in the Melbourne area (especially the southeast region) and establish a meaningful connection with someone. I'd love to chat with someone about what we both enjoy geeking out about and share with each other some of the nerdiest things about ourselves.

Thank you for taking the time to read this and I hope you have an excellent day!
