Long Post Warning

I have a decent 2.1 system driven by a Anthem Integrated STR amplifier.

I'm looking at using these speakers for a home theater system. I understand that I can use a home theater pass through so I can still use the my nice stereo speakers for music (using the Anthem STR integrated) but also for home theater use. My question is how do I hook up my subwoofer so it's available both to my Anthem STR and to my home theater setup? Am I obligated to use a RCA splitter at the level of the subwoofer?
