My fencing contractor used pressure treated wood for the posts and heat treated wood for the pickets. I’m trying not to worry about it but it seems like wood treated may not be best for a fence? Anyways what sealant/stain should I do to mitigate risk in the long term?

And if you guys suggest it, I can go completely nuclear and ask them to finish the rest of the fence with pressure treated. They have about a third of it done with heat treated. I’d rather not do this but if heat treated on it is horrible, I can pull the plug. I live in Michigan if that’s helpful and the fence is vertical pickets also if that’s helpful.

I know nothing about wood so thanks for anyone’s input!
