looking for ballads like Copacabana, Rocket Man, American Pie, and Piano Man (Barry Manilow, Elton John, Don McLean, and Billy Joel) that tell a complete story. While I love Taylor and all, I’m not looking for recommendations like All Too Well, I mean like older classics that I can turn on when I’m in the car with my very old fashioned grandmother who was born in 1960. Also she started absolutely belting “I guess that’s why they call it the blues” and was so excited when I turned on More Than A Feeling!! She turned the volume on to 20 and opened the sunroof!!
