29M I had my first flair up in my knees when I was 14 and the doctors chalked it up to me falling when I skated, but the pain was persistent for years. When I was 18 I lost a job because I couldn't put my feet to the ground so I was stuck in bed for days and days barely able to make it to the bathroom, needed a cane or a walker to get around. Doctors said it was plantar fasciitis, I got cortizone shots and physical therapy that never helped. At 20 I looked like the polkadot boy with psoriasis all over my torso, probably not even a half an inch spacing between the quarter sized blotches. At 25 I finally met a doctor who had common sense enough to say that my feet pain and my psoriasis on my body were probably linked. Started taking Humera, and it did really well for about just shy of 2 years. But in that year+ I could run with my kids and my body cleared up and I felt like a new man, and the pain started in my hand and my psoriasis came back so I switched to Taltz and the same thing. About 2 years of okay feeling and now I'm at a point my hand is so swollen and hurts so bad I can't even use it to type this, completely inoperable for months now, my ankles make it hard to even go on a short walk with my kids, my hip hurts so bad I can't get my socks on, I'm so lethargic its unbearable, its hard for me to get up let alone want to get up to make my children dinner but I do every night and I push through this and its so hard But my Taltz just got taken away so I could start a new (to me) drug called Xeljanz. I hope it works, man. And I don't come here looking for sympathy, I just needed to rant and rave to people who know what I'm going through. Appreciate you're ears and eyes folks, make today a good day to live for.
