Help diagnose dying or withering vines

These are Big Max giant pumpkins. I planted them late (June 1). I have 4 plants. 2 have pumpkins growing and two look like this. One vine, not long yet, and leaves near the base are dying off. This vine has started a pumpkin twice and thought it was set but they shriveled.

I see no evidence of squash vine borers. I spray BT every week and injected BT early on when the trunks got thick.

I’m wondering if I’m not watering enough? I wanted twice a day (sunrise and sunset). Should I bump that up? Can these be over watered?

I’ve got a few jack-o’-lantern plants also and they’re doing pretty well, though I’m noticing thinning of the leaves around the trunk but the leaves on the vines are nice and green and the vines are long. No pumpkins on those yet.

Appreciate any advice.

Help debug a weird steering/suspension issue

Hello!

66 Mustang Coupe, mostly stock but with aftermarket power steering and Shelby drop front springs.

Issue: when I leave my house… I have to hold the steering wheel to the right (about 5-8 degrees) to drive straight. However, at some point, the steering will shift and then I hold the wheel straight to drive straight. When in either position, it drives normally otherwise. It feels normal otherwise. There is no slop in the steering. There are no unusually weird noises coming from anywhere. The steering just…shifts occasionally. It happens when there is a change in the direction that causes the car to dive to one side, or like going over rail road tracks… things that compress or extend the suspension.

I THOUGHT I had found it. I found a “lose” nut on the passenger side front stabilizer where it attaches to the front frame. The nut wasn’t actually lose… it was fairly seized in position, but it wasn’t compressing the bushing at all. There was actually at least a quarter inch of space. I managed to get that nut off and then back on and tightened down. NOPE… still shifty steering.

I have no clue what to look for next. I feel like if we’re the power steering, it would be more like slip, not this occasional shift. I can’t find any other lose nuts or anything obvious.

Thoughts? I’m reluctant to take it to a shop until I have some idea of the issue. I’ve just had bad luck with shops going on fishing trips and costing me tons of money.

How do you know when a pumpkin is actually pollinated?

These are all Big Max pumpkins… wondering if the first 3 are actually growing. The 4th certainly is, but this only 2nd year trying these so I’m not sure when they’re “real”. The first two are on the same vine so I know I’ll have to pick one eventually. Also, these were planted 5 weeks ago. I got a late start.
