Can’t bend thumb all the way after getting bit by dog
My girlfriend’s dog bit me last month July 20th. First pic is right now and the rest of the pics are a day after I was bit. We disinfected and bandaged the wounds immediately. The wounds are closed and are still healing but I have not been able to bend my thumb as far as I can bend my other one. First photo shows how far it can bend before it hurts.
Should I try to stop using my thumb as much as possible? Is the bending and usage of my thumb from daily activities prolonging the healing process? Will it even go back to normal?
