My wife is struggling to pass bowel movements still 5 weeks C section PP and it's worrying me
Hi folks, I've read other similar stories but everything you read about ileus or intestinal blockages online makes me worried for her. My wife is 5 weeks 6 days, PP and only had 5 bowel movements, one being in hospital the day after.
I'm sure it's fine and to be fair, before pregnancy she wasn't a serial pooper, but ever since the birth (which we're going to therapy about because everything just kept going wrong) I feel hyper sensitive to problems and her safety and health. Pre-pregnancy she would pass a movement every 3-4 days.
Hoping for some reassurance or tips really. She's taking Senna and Strigol daily but says she has no feeling or need to pass anything. When she has gone, the second time was really painful and dark in colour, but the latest one was softer and more normal in colour.
