Any idea when the new LR2021 based nodes will be available to buy?

I don’t really care about the ability to send voice or large files but I’m excited to hear how text based messaging will become more reliable, nodes more power efficient and simpler to use. I’ve heard that these nodes could be available and supported as early as the end of 2027.

Ulysse Nardine RA497 dress watch questions

This is my grandfather’s watch who passed away in the late 1960’s. My brother had it for a while and recently gave it to me since he felt it was too small for him. I measured it and it is 35mm in diameter. I believe it is 14k gold as indicated on the back of the watch.

I will never sell it but I’m interested to hear from collectors what they think of it and how Ulysse Nardin fit in the pecking order of brands back in the day. I would also like to determine when this particular model of watch was made. I haven’t been able to find any UN catalogues online. I can’t find any wear. The only defect that I can find is the gray spot on the sub-seconds dial which may be dust on the dial or the crystal. The photos make it look worse than it does in person.

I am curious as to the value of the watch. I didn’t find any exact matches for this watch on eBay but I did find one dealer selling one for $4900. I am suspicious that the asking price is inflated. Most UN gold watches are 18k whereas this is only 14k. The ad identifies this as model RA497. Any input would be appreciated. Also, what watch strap would you recommend? The one in the photo is a cheap Speidel.

As for the date of manufacture, I would guess 1960 since it has the minimalism of the 1960s but the numerals have the flair of the 1950s.

I need to mount the node to a tree. I like the SenseCAP because I live in an area of the country where we get more cloudy days than most other areas. I like that the SenseCAP is prebuilt and has a large battery capacity and a decent solar panel. Any tips?

IOS user here. It would be helpful while using the Meshtastic phone app to be able to click on a url sent in a direct message and have it launch the phones browser and display the desired web page. I can’t do this in IOS without copy and pasting the url to a browser. Does the Android app have this functionality? *** edit: you can do this in IOS. Just do a short tap. If you do a long press, the popup window doesn’t have show an option to ”open in browser” like I expected. ***
